The second book in Gunn’s trilogy, “Transgalactic” is the first sequel he’s ever written. The end of the first novel, “Transcendental,” leaves Ahsa and Riley on two different planets after using the matter transmission device known as the Transcendental Machine. Unaware of each other’s destination, and in a galaxy with billions of planets, the task of finding each other seems impossible. Yet, if they succeed, they know they can change the galaxy.
